LICHFIELD COURT ON TELEVISION
Lichfield Court is currently appearing on television screens in a commercial for renewable energy supplier E.On. Shot over the weekend of June 16-17, the commercial required a crew of 45 plus 20 extras on site. Organised through FilmRichmond, this was the most ambitious filming yet undertaken at Lichfield Court and was intended to show filmmakers how the estate could handle a large and professionally-demanding media operation. The ads appear on both ITV and Channel 4.
Leaseholders who are interested in offering their properties for possible use in future film shoots (and earning a location fee) should contact estate manager Martin Swaine. (Look at the Picture Gallery pages for more photographs)

AGM on 5th November
The next annual general meeting of Festalfine will be held on 5th November.

CCTV coverage of entire estate
PLANS are advanced to improve the security of the estate by extending coverage of closed circuit television monitoring. Improved coverage will result in safer communal areas as well as making it easier to identify trespassers and unauthorised vehicles using the car park. Survey reports have been completed and the management has received quotes from several contractors.

Electrical upgrade
ELECTRICAL engineering group EdF has instructed its subsidiary Power Network to visit Lichfield Court to assess the existing electrical infrastructure. Our M & E consultants, Bellmoore Ltd, continue discussions with the Conservation Officer about the location of the new switchgear equipment and power supplies.

Painting of walkways and front doors to flats

NIGEL and Michael continue their cleaning and repainting of inner walkways, floors, walls and other communal areas. They have also started re-painting front doors where necessary. Residents are offered a choice of four colours: Green, Blue, Red or Black.

Parking permits – hurry!
RESIDENTS who have not yet organised their 2007 parking permits are reminded to contact Herbert in the front reception office. Herbert is available from 8am-3pm weekdays. Cars without a valid parking permit will be clamped.
